Food Sovereignty

The Food Sovereignty stream aims to enhance food security and food sovereignty; land and water acquisition for crop and livestock farming; build the capacity of small-scale farmers and small scale-fishers; strengthen alliances with partners and establish a working committee working with nurseries as well as gardens.

The emphasis of this stream is to support small-scale producers’ access and use of land for their livelihoods. This work allows us to build good practices linked to land use, agroecology, seed saving, and rehabilitation. Land, food, and water are key elements of sustainable food economies, including localised food production.
