Vision: Organized, empowered, active and gender sensitive communities with sustainable viable economies based on the utilization of available natural resources, enabling them to fulfill their potential. Independent and self-reliant rural communities that will be responsible for the sustainability of progressive development to address to needs of the present disadvantaged masses and future generations within a healthy environment. Empowered rural communities that will provide socio-cultural security in order to instill a sense of belonging, responsibility with special emphasis on women, youth, the landless and unemployed.
Mission: Zingisa Educational Project is a Non-Governmental, non-partisan, gender sensitive organisation in the process into transforming itself into a democratic and accountable, autonomous rural people's organisation capable of spearheading the struggles of the rural poor to improve their well being As part of these people, we will lobby and advocate for pre poor land and agrarian policies and to begin to develop alternative models for small-scale agriculture that can serve as a basis for developing the rural economies of our rural areas. Furthermore we commit ourselves to building and strengthening farmers associations and development forums that can act as a vehicle voicing and championing the concerns, needs and aspirations of the rural poor and drive the development initiatives that further their interests. A key component of our vision is the rural transformation based on far reaching agrarian reform that enables the rural communities to live good quality lives in peace and dignity.
